I spent two long days this past week looking at homes with our friend Megan Parker who is in real estate. On Friday we found a condo in Manassas, VA that is absolutely perfect for Joe and I. It is more space than we had hoped for, so we are ecstatic! We put in our competing contract last night with Megan and found out this morning on our way to church that our offer was accepted. We are so excited! Pictures and more info to come!

Wow. It's already June. Where did April and May go? We had a wonderful time Memorial Day weekend with the Kijankos who were in town celebrating their first wedding anniversary. We did all the tourist things with them, which is nice because when you live in the area it's easy to miss those adventures. We visited the Holocaust and American History Smithsonian but weren't able to see others because they were closed for the holiday. My dad took them on a forever long (7 hour) bike ride around the District, which sounded so fun! Any visitors MUST do the Elliot bike tour!

I decided to take matters into my own hands today. No matter how many different hair stylists I go to, none of them will "thin" my hair. People, I have enough hair for 3 people! Even when I show them exactly what I want them to do. Nope. So, today I decided I would just thin it myself. I grabbed Joey's razor, lifted up the top layer of my hair and skimmed the surface of the hair underneath with the razor. It worked quite nicely. Sort of adds new meaning to a "razor cut."

Yesterday we celebrated our 2 year anniversary! We can hardly believe it has already been two years, it still seems like just a few months ago. Our day was so nice. Joe took off early from work so we headed to a huge outlet mall south of us and bummed around there for awhile. We ate dinner at Olive Garden and then spent the rest of the evening relaxing together at home. I have been fighting a cold this past week so it was nice to have a relaxing day. Oh, and Joey bought me "The Notebook" movie, which is incredibly sad but extremely good. We definitely recommend it!
